Kelsey Lu is the protagonist of a comic book created in partnership with Kaleidoscope Magazine. The experimental cellist and songwriter is depicted pursuing her dreams to become a musician wearing Gucci ready-to-wear pieces and accessories including the Gucci Jackie 1961 bag—an archival design revolutionized by Alessandro Michele launching soon worldwide. The illustrations are created by Terrell Villiers—who explains he often pulls inspirations for his cartoon-work from different alternative, stylish, queer, black social-media influencers, artists and creatives—and Akia Dorsainvil of Masisi.
